The LBLL Minor Angels got their first win of the season by besting the Dodgers 9-4 on Tuesday evening. Both teams now have one win under their belt and that tiny taste of Victory is just the motivation they need as they make their way through the infant stage of the season. The win rested heavily on some great bat work by the entire Angel Team which proved too much for a very talented Dodger infield. Angels pitcher Jacob Agaiby went the distance in great form while striking out 9 Dodger batters. Coach Lohman of the Dodgers was quoted as saying “ the kid was throwing smoke out there and we left way too many ducks on the pond in the first two innings to overcome a solid and well coached Angel team”. Dodger Pitcher Kirk Nakkasian got his first taste of the mound along with the first strikeout of his career. An overjoyed Nakkasian was quoted as saying “ I got my first strikeout!”. This was the first of a four game series between these two teams with the next meeting taking place Saturday at 1PM. “We have made the adjustments we feel will bring us to victory at our next meeting” said Lohman. “It’s all about doing what we need to do to get us to the playoffs in June”.
Come out to the park this Saturday and watch what is sure to be a great game between these two teams.
