All of the highly anticipated LBLL Opening Day parade and festivities have been postponed to next week - Sat Feb 29 - due to pending weather.
As per the forecast, games are unlikely, but there is hope that some may play on depending on field conditions -- but unfortunately the parade, opening ceremonies, breakfast, pictures, bounce houses, etc... are all being moved to next week. So set your sprinklers to rain delay and enjoy sleeping in this Sat am.
Please check with your respective teams and coaches for details!

Thank you to Jessica Brende and all the volunteers that helped to make this great day happen for the community.
If you missed last Saturdays Diamond Ball Event then you missed one heck of a Rodeo! Lunada Bay Baseball families and friends all gathered over at Jessica and Steve Brende’s home to share stories about the 2019 season while enjoying some great food, music and a few laughs together.
It was a spectacular night capped off by some extreme excitement as Mr. David Corral took home the $6,500 Reverse Raffle prize when Raffle MC Josh Lohman called out winning ticket #118! The last ticket pulled from the jar!
Thank you to all who joined in on this amazing raffle....It is a fundraising event that also brought $6,500 directly to our league. These are much needed funds that go right into to helping make Lunada Bay Little League the Gem that it is and hopefully always will be! Next year we want to double the pot!!
Kudos to all the great people that worked so hard to make this years Diamond Ball so great. Cowboy hats off to Jessica Brende, Steve Brende and Jennifer Lohman. You guys were amazing!
Dylan Dempster capped off a tremendous 2019 LBLL Closing Day as the Cunha Award recipient, given annually to the player who through his love of the game and perseverance best epitomized the true spirit of LBLL for this year! LBLL was also pleased to acknowledge the T-Ball Bats managed by Pat Carey as the team Hit-A-Thon fundraising champions, and acknowledged the Hit-A-Thon divisional hitting champions: Kai Leanza (Lake Monsters, T-ball), Camden Smith (Hot Rods, Farm), Nicholas Yun (Minors, Giants), Keegan Smith (Intermediate, Astros), and Dylan Dempster (Majors, Cubs). Congratulations to all!
Leading up to the awards ceremony the action on the field was tremendous all day long. The Dodgers looked strong in overcoming the Cubs for the Intermediate title, and then the Challengers, T-ball, and Farm players put on a show before the Minors and Majors championship games saw the Giants outlast the Mariners and the Dodgers get past the Diamondbacks.
After the closing ceremonies, some coaches and players then participated in the traditional end-of-Closing-Day coaches game before everyone showered up and headed to Brende Ranch for a fantastic Diamond Ball to close the season!
This brings the 2019 LBLL regular season to an end, but we're not done yet! Good luck to our King of the Hill and Tournament of Champions teams in Intermediate and Majors, and to all of our 2019 All Stars. And please be sure to sign up for summer baseball at the link below! Go Bay!

The 2019 Lunada Bay Little League playoffs are off to an exciting start in all three upper divisions. Extremely close games have been the story as all of the teams are giving it their all. Six of eight games played so far have been decided by a mere single run -- and the remaining two games were each decided by only two runs!
The action continues today in an elimination game between the Intermediate Astros and the Intermediate Angels at 5:00 on the Majors Field. Don't miss it!
