The Lunada Bay Angels opened up the 2020 Little League Season with a hard fought, team-win over the Rolling Hills Diamondbacks. After falling behind 7-3 at the end of two innings, Nicholas Yun struck out the side and the Angels rallied for 8 runs in the bottom of the 3rd. The Angels were led offensively by Julian Imposimato (2/2, 3 runs, 2 RBIs) and Will Shouse (2/3, 1 run, 1 RBI) and Alex Vitkus, Jake Dube, Preston Decker, and Yun all hit safely in the game. Excellent base-running by Rocco Imposimato (2 runs) and clutch hitting by Jacob Agaiby (1 RBI) extended the lead to 11-7. After giving up two runs in the top of the 4th, Kai Collatos (2 runs) made a spectacular catch at second base to seal the victory for the Angels and to help Yun (1-0) earn the win.
