The LB Dodgers experienced “Minor” redemption today scoring a win over a rough & ready Angels team. This was the second meeting of these baby brawlers and the Dodgers got the win they needed to even the score. The Dodgers came out swinging scoring 5 runs in the first but due to some amazing bat work by the Halos Cam Celestin and Diego Gutierrez, the score was tied at 7 by the time the live arms took to the hill. Liam Lohman threw well for the dodgers allowing 3 runs in the fourth before retiring his third batter. Liam Cody finished the game for the Dodgers with 17 pitches. The Angels mixed it up on the mound which momentarily confused the Dodgers but by the time the ump walked away the Dodgers had what they needed to get the W. It was a well fought battle and with two more games left in this four game series, it’s anybody’s guess as to who will win the next. The Dodgers and the Halos take the field again at 5PM this coming Wednesday in what is sure to be a barn burner..
