T BALL TIGERS NEWS AND PHOTOS

The Tigers played the Angels on Saturday. Needing seven runs in the bottom half of the third inning to tie the game, Jonathan Walter and Jack Tomlinson delivered huge hits, then Brendan Elliott hit a walk-off grand slam. Sunday marked the team's first annual "water balloon practice", leaving everyone wet.

The Tigers sank their claws into the Padres this week. Despite some stellar defensive plays by the Padres, the Tigers were able to score a
lot of runs. Aiden Beckman and Alexander Moustacas helped the Tigers display hustle, sportsmanship, and team spirit.

The Phillies rolled into the Tigers' den this week-end. Brendan Elliott and Aidan Beckman were stand-out hitters. Alexander Moustacas hustled all over the field defensively. The team played well despite the mid-game sugar rush supplied by J.P. Vermillion.

The Tigers' prey on Saturday was the Angels. Despite frequent visits from a field mouse sticking his head out at home plate, the Tigers managed to hit the ball well. Kayla Thompson and Brooke Morhar each had nice hits. J.P. Vermillion played well in the field. We all learned that a runner is out if hit by a batted ball.
