LUNADA BAY LITTLE LEAGUE OPENING DAY SCHEDULE AND PARADE INFORMATION

Opening Day Schedule

8:00 am - Parade starts. The Challenger Division players bring the parade home.

8:30 am - Opening Day Ceremonies

9:00 am - Noon - Pancake Breakfast & Games

9:30 am - Inaugural Challenger Game

10:30 am - T-Ball Game

10:30 pm – Snack Shack Opens at 10:30am until closing

12:00 pm - Intermediate Game

2:20pm – Major Game

This year OPENING DAY is scheduled for Saturday, March 3rd and this year's parade will be lead by our Challenger Division players. We ask that you and your players (in uniform) arrive at Palos Verdes High School PROMPTLY at 7:45 a.m. This will allow time for everyone to get in their designated place in order for our parade to run smoothly and in a timely manner. Once again, we will have ONLY PLAYERS AND COACHES walking the parade route.

PLEASE inform your players and their parents that they are to park their cars in the school parking lot (directly to the right as you enter the school campus from Cloyden Road). They can walk their child over to the adjacent parking lot and leave their child with the team. NO ONE but the players and their coaches will be allowed to remain in this area!

If a child refuses to be in the parade without a parent, we suggest the parent and child watch the parade from the parade route or proceed directly to the Little League field. Our focus is to recognize the TEAMS.

The parade will begin from the PVHS parking lot on Cloyden Road, proceed east on Cloyden, right on Via Pacheco, left on Yarmouth, left on PV Dr. West, and conclude at the Lunada Bay Little League field. Please discuss this with your players' families so that they will know these areas and be prepared to PARK, DROP OFF and GO! Have the players' families, friends and relatives line the streets to see and cheer all of our participants. The Fire and Police departments are scheduled to visit with everyone and join our parade route.

Thanks to you and your team's parents for following and understanding these guidelines. Remember, the parade begins PROMPTLY at 8:00 a.m. with Opening Ceremonies, team & individual photos, music, activities and LOTS OF BASEBALL fun to follow!!!
