The Padres faced a very strong outing from the PV Red Sox today at Valmonte Field.
Final score was 5-6.
Great plays in the field included a great catch in center field by Jack Matura and a great catch in right field by Jack Matson!
The third inning the Padres exploded for 5 runs! Singles by Quinn Stoneman, and Joseph Fogel were followed by a triple by William Sampson! Then base hits by Jack Matura and Leif Krampert were followed by a double by Cameron Allen!
In the 5th inning Brandon Bauer hit a base hit and made it all the way to third but could not plate the tying run! The Red Sox were very up for this game and they deserved the win.
We hope to see this team later in the season if possible!
