PV Peninsula "Fall Ball" Baseball League with Dan Spring
Dan Spring and his staff of "Spring Training" professional coaches will once again run the off-season "Fall Ball" league in Palos Verdes. The league will have an Intermediate division (for Minor players in Spring 2011) and a Major Division (for Intermediate and Major Players from Spring 2011) and will run for 7 weeks starting September 12th, 2011. There will be one mid-week practice and one game on Sundays per week and all workouts and games will be coached by the Spring Training staff - there will be no parental involvement and playing time, batting order, and defensive positioning will be 100% fair to all players throughout the season.
The emphasis of the program will be individual skill development in pitching, hitting, infield & outfield play, and baserunning as well as team defensive and team offensive concepts. As with all Spring Training programs attitude, effort, sportsmanship, teamwork, and maintaining a solid academic record will be stressed all season long.
Registration is currently underway athttp://www.active.com/baseball-league/rolling-hills-estates-ca/pen-fall-league-2011and more than half the spots have already been filled. Teams will be limited to roughly 11 players to guarantee tons of playing time for all participants. This league has completely filled up each of the last 5 years so please don't delay.
Please contact Dan Spring at DanielSpring14@gmail.com with any questions about the league or visit www.stbaseball.com for more info on Spring Training.
Thanks!
